Week 10
This was another week where i ran into another health issue, this time i woke up with a bacterial infection (no vertigo this time). Thankfully i was able to be outside for more than 30 minutes this time, this gave roughly around an hour and a half to shoot this week. I wanted get my compositions down more this week as my previous weeks photos were lacking in that department, i utilized cropping to cull out some of the impurities i.e. : blur and overall poor composition

Getting to the lower pond is rather difficult holding the camera and the tripod while avoiding numerous prickle bushes as well as not trying to fall into the creeks/pond, the whole backyard has not been cut in 4 years. I have quite fond memories of this backyard, as the years went by the once patato/rhubarb farm my dad made was dug up to make way for a makeshift salmon fishery that once housed 20 large salmon in it. Time erodes all things but the only constant is memory.

Despite my struggles with my health this week i am slowly begining to understand the masking tool as well as how to optimize lightrooms performance so it does not crash while using the object selection tool.

Here im trying to match the grainy vingette style that my film camera took in Japan, i find that the first image is somehow more fitting than adding the green to match the color tone of background, i now realize that there is a pre set in lightroom classic that adds grain to an image, i will try to play around with that.
